London Rivers Week 2026: Evening stroll along River Crane at Mill Road, Twickenham
Join Friends of the River Crane Environment (FORCE) for a free guided walk at Mill Road as part of London Rivers Week 2026.
Look at the River Crane improvements to entice water voles & kingfishers!
Our walk will start at Mill Road, Twickenham, and then upstream to Willow Way, looking at all the river and open space improvement works happening along this stretch and talking about how we are seeking to entice water voles and kingfishers into this space. We will then return along the mill stream channel to Mill Road. We shall meet at the Stag Beetle bench between the two bridges.
Everybody is welcome to join us on this walk, but please register here so we know how many to expect. Booking will open a month beforehand. Due to safeguarding needs, all children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
