There is potential to install an overflow channel next to Boot Pond in Bentley Priory, more research required. 

Where is Boot Pond?

Boot Pond is located in the south section of Bentley Priory next to Bentley Way. Click here for link to Google Maps. 

What phase is Boot Pond in?

Update June 2026 Following a site visit and a technical report outlining options for a flood storage scheme in Bentley Priory that would include an overflow basin or channel as opposed to leaky dams in the upstream woodlands, no further works can be considered due to the EA not agreeing a flood risk activity permit for any viable scheme.
