What phase is Morecambe Gardens at in the design process?
Initial Scoping: A consultation on these proposals was undertaken with residents in 2022 by the Council Lead Local Flood Authority and Housing Department and there were no particular objections to the plans. The site will be analysed for further scoping. Technical teams will look at some ideas for the site including swales and rain gardens. They’ll cost the list up and work out how many sites can be taken forward on current budgets. If this site is taken forward we will undertake further consultation, providing residents with the opportunity to comment on proposals.
