Vacancies advertised for Land of the Fanns Project

Two vacancies have been advertised for the Land of the Fanns Landscape Project, in which Thames21 is a Board member.

The project is now recruiting for a Scheme Manager and a Finance and Administration officer.

Both are based at the Thames Chase Forest Centre, Upminster, RM14 3NS.

The Land of the Fanns Landscape Partnership has secured £1.3million from the Heritage Lottery Fund to underpin a 5-year £2.4m programme to restore, discover and celebrate one of the last remaining landscapes of London as it once was. Building on the landscape regeneration story of Thames Chase Community Forest established in 1990, and located on the edge of east London and south-west Essex, the adopted narrative for our fragmented and misunderstood landscape is inspired by Leslie Thompson’s book ‘The Land that Fanns’, describing a more unified time that many still remember.
