Protect rivers
We can all play a part in protecting London’s rivers. Below are some key ways to get involved!
Get trained with Thames21
We run a number of training courses giving you the skills to fight plastic pollution, become a citizen scientist, an ambassador for the Thames, learn about natural flood management or create and maintain reedbeds. Read more about our flagship Leading Action for Healthy Rivers course and sign up to our training bulletin to find out when courses are available for booking.
Become a River Action Group Leader
Once you’ve done our flagship leadership training you can set up your own River Action Group to protect your own stretch of waterway, with our support and insurance. Or you can join an existing River Action Group.
