Action for Silk Stream – Easter holiday Burnt Oak Brook clean up

Action for Silk Stream is a project that is helping to tackle the effects of climate change by making space for water, reducing flooding and improving water quality in the Silk Stream catchment for the benefit of communities and the environment.
The Burnt Oak Brook needs a spring clean so we will be there to:
- Clear litter from the stream and river
- Clear Himalayan balsam from the banks
- Have a go at identifying invertebrates in the water
Wear wellies and we’ll provide refreshments for all volunteers!
Wednesday 10th April – Watling Park, Burnt Oak, Barnet

Friday 12th April – The Meads, Barnet, HA8 9JW
Meet by Dryfield Rd/The Meads junction
Time: drop in between 11am & 2pm
