Action for Silk Stream – River Action Day at Chandos Park, Edgware

Join us for our Action for Silk Stream monthly volunteering days. They will be held on the last Thursday of each month.
Venue – Chandos Park, Edgware, Harrow, HA8 6EU

We will be at Chandos Park this month! We will continue our work from December- In the Spring the diggers will be arriving to move the channel of the stream so we need to get the site ready. We will remove litter and fencing and also clear vegetation. If the stream is accessible we will put waders on and get into the water too to clear it of litter.
What to Bring:
- Dress for the weather and the task
- Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of fluids.
- We will bring tea/coffee and biscuits.
- We will provide all other equipment needed for the event and we look forward to welcoming you!

Action for Silk Stream is a project that is helping to tackle the effects of climate change by making space for water, reducing flooding and improving water quality in the Silk Stream catchment for the benefit of communities and the environment.
