Action for Silk Stream – River Action Day at Chandos Park

Join us for our Action for Silk Stream monthly volunteering days. They will be held on the last Thursday of each month.
We will be at Chandos Park in Harrow this month! In the Spring the diggers will be arriving to move the channel of the stream so we need to get the site ready. We will remove litter and fencing and also clear vegetation. If the stream is accessible we will put waders on and get into the water too to clear it of litter.

Where to meet: inside Methuen Road entrance to Chandos Park, Edgware – HA8 6EZ (opposite Flash Musicals Theatre)
What to Bring:
Dress for the weather and the task – long trousers and sleeves are advisable as there are nettles and brambles.
Please bring a packed lunch and plenty of fluids.
We will bring tea/coffee and biscuits.
We will provide all other equipment needed for the event and we look forward to welcoming you!
