Action for Silk Stream – World Wetland Day – Silk Stream Park, Barnet

February 2 @ 11:30 am - 2:00 pm

Help us to celebrate World Wetland Day on 2nd February by helping us clear up the wetland area in Silk Stream Park which needs our help to remove litter.

No need to book – just come along for as long as you can! Many hands make light work 🙂

Do you live near Silk Stream Park?

Do you want your park wetland to be clear of litter?

Can you spare 30mins of your lunch break to help?

What to Bring:

  • Dress for the weather and the task.
  • Wear wellies (or borrow a pair from us)
  • We will provide all other equipment needed for the event and we look forward to welcoming you!

Where to meet: By the Wetland bridge in Silk Stream Park, Edgware, Barnet, HA8 0DE

Action for Silk Stream is a project that is helping to tackle the effects of climate change by making space for water, reducing flooding and improving water quality in the Silk Stream catchment for the benefit of communities and the environment.

This is an event designed for the community to engage the local public with the river and not for corporates. If you are interested in a bespoke corporate volunteer day. Please visit our website   https://www.thames21.org.uk/get-involved-2/corporateteamdays/
