Chinbrook Meadows Tree Planting Day

The Chinbrook Meadows wetlands have finally been excavated! After years of planning and two months of construction, the wetlands are ready to be planted. We need your help to do this!
In collaboration with the Lewisham Rivers and People group, we will be getting the wetlands ready for opening on the 19th of March.
We will be there from 11.00-14.00 but please feel free to come and go as you please.
We will provide all equipment, tea, and coffee, please just bring lunch and wear warm clothing that you don’t mind getting muddy!
Getting here:
The meeting point is at the SuDS site on the Portland Road/ orchard side of the meadows.
- Parking is available on Amblecote Road. If coming from this side of the meadows, you’ll need to walk through the railway tunnel.
- Site is a 10-minute walk from Grove Park station.
- The park is serviced by bus routes 124, 126, 273, 624.
