Chinbrook Meadows Planting Day

The Chinbrook Meadows wetlands have finally been excavated! After years of planning and two months of construction, the wetlands are ready to be planted. We need your help to do this! Join us on the 30th of November for the first day of planting the first wetland cell. We have over 550 plants that need to go in so it will be an ‘all-hands on deck’ type of day.
We will be there from 10.00-15.00 but please feel free to come and go as you please.
We will provide all equipment, tea, and coffee. We just ask that you wear warm clothing and bring your own lunch. We will be meeting on the Portland Road entrance to the park where we’ll be kitting up, you can access here through the park from the Chinbrook Road/ Amblecote Road side or directly if you’re driving.
Getting here:
- Parking is available on Amblecote Road.
- Site is a 10-minute walk from Grove Park station.
- The park is serviced by bus routes 124, 126, 273, 624.
