The River Cray Needs You, The winter break will be over soon!

Have to start with an apology business will resume shortly and within days of the first programme of events there are changes (typical). The River Enhancement Event on Thursday 5th February is cancelled we start The project sessions for this year on Wednesday 25th February we have to complete this work by the end of August, with ongoing river bank repairs and then there will be a programme of planting 3000 plugs of aquatic plants! Much work to be done!

To get you started give me a call about Saturday 24th January with St Pauls Academy at Foots Cray Meadows, Then there are a series of Winter River clean ups, Thursday January 29th with the Friends of the Shuttle we shall all be at Danson Park removing the rubbish from the lake. Meet the Boat House 1030 – 1330.

Do come along and participate with your views and ideas on Tuesday 3rd February 2015, to Our Annual Review of the Project and 2015 planning conference. This is our yearly opportunity for volunteers and interested persons to get together review the previous year and discuss the opportunities for 2015. All are welcome venue Kelsey’s Farmhouse Kitchen Cafe. North Cray DA14 5ET (The Farm shop beside the river North Cray Road Sidcup) 1030 – 1300, please do inform me if attending.
