We’re looking for Thames21’s River Leader of the Year! Can you help?
 
Volunteers are at the heart of Thames21’s work, and we want to celebrate their amazing work!
 
Help Thames21 find the most inspiring or active Thames21 volunteer across London and the Thames Basin by nominating someone for the first-ever Celia Hensman River Leader of the Year Award!
 
In memory of Thames21’s much-loved founder, Celia Hensman, this Award will celebrate a volunteer who may have done one or more of these:

  • Shown exceptional dedication
  • Inspired others
  • Overcome personal odds
  • Achieved significant change

They may have done this by making physical improvements to rivers, campaigning or advocating for rivers, or by helping Londoners connect to and celebrate their local rivers.
 
Send in your nominations for River Leader of the Year now! Deadline is 31st January!
 
This award will be given at a celebration event in April 2023 to celebrate all Thames21’s volunteers and award the winner with a trophy.
