River Cray Project

Dear All

I start this week’s missive with an important request for your support next Saturday 11th October, again at Foots Cray Meadows and with a group of young people, yes hot on the heels of last week’s final Day with the National Citizens Service. My thanks to those who came along as EST, Volunteers and the Friends of Foots Cray Meadows, can we do it again please.

This time its St Pauls Academy under the direction of the dynamic Mr Gordon Davis, this school is really up for it and has turned up during school holidays and at the weekend in the snow!  We should get the tree mulching done and finish off the path laying of the aggregate.

It was a pleasure to meet up with the Friends of the Shuttle on Tuesday evening, look out for their exciting programme of events usually every other Thursday details can be found on the bexleywildlife.org site and I hope to have them on our site soon. We intend to continue with the tradition of a Christmas get together provisionally set for Thursday 11th December venue to be confirmed from 1pm.
