Native Plants in the Cray, Wrong stuff out and more Trolley Trouble
Thanks to Brian, Ray and Ron who today Thursday 4th June joined up to respond to a request from London Borough of Bexley concerning shopping trolleys in the river in Crayford, problem sorted but plenty left for next week see below.
Recently we had a great day with the Friends of the Shuttle removing floating pennywort from the Golf Course lakes beside the Shuttle in Sidcup.
On Tuesday we began to home our delivery of native riverside plants within the new river margins on the Veolia Project at Foots Cray Meadows, a first time for many of us and thanks to Kelsey’s for taking the delivery for Thames21.
Next week on the River Cray
Friday 12th June is the river clean up prior to the Crayford Fun day and duck races next day. Meet waterside Gardens 11am DA1 4JA
Saturday 13th June 2015, The Crayford Rotrarians Fun Day Waterside gardens we can still take a few volunteers to help with the duck races its a 0900 start. meet at location as above
