Trolley Trouble Tackled in Erith

Dear All

Trolley Trouble Tackled in Erith

The Team at Erith Deep Water Pier

Sunday 10th May was the Erith Town Community Clean Up. Thames21 have been working in Partnership with the Friends of River Side Gardens Erith (FORGE) over a number of years with this event, which is designed primarily to remove shopping trolleys that have been thrown into the Thames Estuary from the Thames pathway at Erith. This event was again a resounding success supported by local shops, The London Borough of Bexley and local Army Cadets, thanks also to our EST and volunteer river keepers and their leadership of the grappling teams.
