Special spring 2-for-1 offer for schools at Welsh Harp
For a limited time and working in partnership with Thames Water, Thames21 is offering schools a 2-for-1 day of Key Stage 2 sessions at the Welsh Harp Environmental Education Centre, in Brent, in the early part of 2017.
A day consists of two exciting hands on sessions:
- Session 1 – Be a Mini Engineer: Take the engineering challenge to test your Science, Technology, English and Maths (STEM) skills and see if you can build and test a water supply network. This session helps develop team working, problem solving and communication skills.
- Session 2 – Woodland Habitat Investigators: Put your investigative skills into action to get up close and personal with nature. Identify the common woodland wildlife and learn how to classify them based on shared characteristics and differences.
There is capacity for two classes to book in per day and the cost for each class is £100.
Timing for the day: 10.00am – 2.30pm
The dates we have available are:
January: 10th, 11th, 18th, 23rd, 24th, 30th, 31st
February: 6th, 7th, 20th, 27th
