London Rivers Week 2024: Balsam Bash

June 26 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Come and work with the Friends of Barnes Common on freeing the banks of the Beverley Brook from the invasive Himalayan Balsam (Impatiens glanduliferathat is spreading aggressively and choking out all other plants. We will provide waders, waterproof gloves and tools and show you how to identify the plant in question.

There will be a bankside team as well as a water team. Minimum age 16+.

Please arrive on time. Tea coffee and biscuits are provided but do bring a water bottle and a keep cup for your tea or coffee.
