Join a clean-up
We host quarterly litter clean-ups on the tidal Thames open to the public. We provide the wellies, gloves & litterpickers – just dress for the weather! Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
Join a community-led River Action Group
Local volunteers lead a series of River Action Groups across London and Essex. You can join them Hammersmith, Fulham, Sands End & the Isle of Dogs. Tell us where you would like to get involved.
Become a citizen scientist
Ordinary Londoners are monitoring the amount of litter on the tidal Thames and recording the data on our online form. Attend a survey to become a citizen scientist and help tackle plastic pollution.
We host regular clean-ups and litter surveys to improve the river environment. No previous experience is necessary and they are open to the general public.
We provide NCFE accredited training twice a year on how to lead events on rivers. Once accredited, you will be covered by our insurance to lead your own events. If interested let us know.
We support people and community groups to lead events of their choosing on the river. We provide training, equipment and ongoing support.
